I'm an old retired person who likes to do crafts and had been doing the ebay fundraisers for my group, GPA/MO, for several years. I've have turned the ebays over to someone else to try to let others be more involved in the fundraising process.
Due to a whole lot of things going on in my life, I put aside my crafting for several years and am now ready to start again. In the past, I have made/sold Quillos for greyhounds and greyhound Christmas Tree skirts which sold very well on ebay.
I am really not into crafting for profit because I generally only keep 50% of what I sell an item for. I just want to make it a self-suffient hobby and still donate to whatever group is needing help. I'm not a business or even a website....I'm just me with a sewing maching and a lot of fabric!
My husband and I have 4 greyhounds, none of which ever raced, and 6 housecats. I am also on Greytalk and read nearly all of the posts, although I don't post alot.
When I took an early retirement at aged 54 , I swore I'd never again do anything unless I wanted to. So far, I've managed to be a success at that!
I'm thrilled to be here. I think you all are people after my own heart!
