Requesting Assistance (Hounds Needing Help)
The forum, Hounds Needing Help, is a place where groups and greyhound adoption individuals can post their requests for assistance for out of the ordinary greyhound medical expenses, emergency expenses (i.e. Hurricane damage, fire, etc) and for transport of a greyhound(s) to an adoption program (emergency situations only please). Special consideration may be given to non-group related requests depending on the circumstances.
Requests may be posted in this forum but will not appear as an active post until it is approved by an Administrator. The decision to manage this forum in this way was done to best serve the group/individual asking for assistance and to protect the generous and kind hearted donors as best we can from fraudulent requests. The Administrator has the right to refuse a request for assistance if it does not meet the above criteria.
Please use this forum for requests only. Once a request has been made coordination efforts for a fundraiser may continue in that thread. Once there is an active fundraiser for a specific request it will be listed or moved to the Active Fundraisers.
We know there are many hounds needing help and people want their requests available to view quickly. Please be patient with us as we may not be online or need to discuss a request before approving it. We will do our best to monitor and approve requests as quickly as possible.
